We will discuss the difference between intuitive degree descriptions and using actual sign archetypes. How, When, and Where to use them – We will look at natal, progressed, and lunation degrees.
We start with decants/decanates and dwads/dwadamas. Decanates are an old Hindu technique that divides the whole sign into 3 segments, based on the common element. Then using another Hindu ancient method of placing the 12 signs of the zodiac into each sign, it is divided into 2 ½ degree sections called dwads or dwadamsas. This method uses all 4 elements to describe the inner workings of the degrees.
Lastly, we will apply the 30th harmonic principle of one sign associated with an individual degree using the natural zodiac. We will discuss the difference between using intuitive degree meanings for each zodiac degree as opposed to applying the natural zodiac and element emphasis to better understand the driving force of each of the 360 degrees.
