שמי גיא מטרסו, הנציג הישראלי של הארגון בארץ. את דרכי האסטרולוגית התחלתי בשנת 1991 ובשנת 2007 הפכתי להיות אסטרולוג עצמאי.
את תעודת ההסמכה המקצועית של ISAR קיבלתי בשנת 2014, כמו כן אני בעל תואר ראשון במנהל עסקים וכלכלה.
אני שמח שנבחרתי להיות הנציג בישראל, החזון שלי הוא לקדם את האסטרולוגיה בארץ ולחבר בין הקהילה האסטרולוגית בישראל לקהילה האסטרולוגית הבינלאומית.
 
ארגון ISAR הוא מהמובילים בעולם ללימוד וחקר האסטרולוגיה. 
הארגון חרת על דגלו לקדם ולהנגיש את הידע האסטרולוגי באמצעות נציגים בכל העולם, וכמו כן מעניק תעודות הסמכה מקצועיות לאסטרולוגים שעוברים בהצלחה את מבחני ההכשרה.
המבחנים קשים ומאתגרים, ההכשרה כרוכה בהשקעה של זמן ודורשת ידע נרחב ומקצועי.
 
בזכות האינטרנט והמחשבים בעידן של היום, הידע האסטרולוגי זמין ונגיש לכולם והכלים שעומדים לרשותנו לביצוע מחקרים הם מהטובים שהיו אי פעם.
אנחנו נעזרים במשאבים אלו ונמשיך לחקור ולגלות עוד ועוד נתונים מקצועיים כדי ליצור מהם כלים יישומיים למקצוע האסטרולוגיה.

A Medieval Toolkit: Using Traditional Techniques in Your Own Practice

 

As modern astrologers, we’re used to drawing up charts in seconds on a computer, and using numerous techniques, outer planet transits and a psychological language to work with our clients. Ours is a rich and subtle art. How, then, did medieval astrologers manage with just seven planets and five aspects? How did a society that saw the Black Death manage without Pluto? Was theirs simply a limited cut-down version of what we have available to us in modern astrology?

In this talk, we’ll look at some of the richness of medieval astrology. Despite the lack of outer planets and modern techniques, medieval astrologers had a surprisingly large toolkit of methods lost to modern astrology: dignity, almutens, Arabic Parts, lunations and profections, to name but a few. The recent resurgence of modern translations of ancient texts mean these fascinating methods have been rediscovered, so find out how you can use them today to enrich your own astrological readings.
