The Secret Meaning of Planetary Exaltations?

Although it is clear that ancient astrologers considered both the domicile and exaltation rulers of the signs to be of great importance, it isn’t clear how the earliest astrologers differentiated the two categories of planetary rulers, either philosophically or in practical application. In this talk, I will present a working hypothesis about what the underlying differences might have been and how we might use each category uniquely when reading birth charts.

Acyuta-bhava Das – pronounced as “Ah-choo-tah” – (Adam Elenbaas) is a professional astrologer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Adam is the critically acclaimed author of Fishers of Men: The Gospel of an Ayahuasca Vision Quest, (Tarcher/Penguin 2010), and one of the founding writers of the popular web magazine, “RealitySandwich.com.” Adam holds an M.A. in English, Language, and Literature, and an M.F.A. in Creative Non-Fiction Writing.
